Movement Practice

In this class I combine my many years of experience as a yoga teacher and somatic movement educator into a multidisciplinary practice to help you feel ready to meet the day. 

We start with some checking in, then a warm up for the muscles and nervous system, followed by movement sequences where we work on mobility, strength, balance and coordination. We finish the practice with stretching, hanging from a bar, or just some guided relaxation.

Awareness is a key component of this practice. I guide students in focusing on their own sensations, and I offer individual adaptations wherever necessary.

Just like in a Feldenkrais lesson, my goal is to assist students in finding joy through movement, encouraging agency and fostering self-knowledge.
