Movement Practice
This class is my own twist on what I find most interesting about yoga, somatic education, and other movement modalities. We start the class checking in with ourselves and encouraging full body yawning. Then, we go on with a warm up, followed by different sets of functional movements – squats, pull-ups, push-ups, jumping, etc, where we work on strength and mobility in a progressive way. The last part of the class is dedicated to cooling down the body and relaxing the nervous system. Body awareness is a key component of this practice; students are reminded to listen to their bodies and to respect their limitations. Just like in a Feldenkrais lesson, my goal is to assist the students in finding joy through movement while encouraging agency and fostering self-knowledge. Everyone is welcome!

Feldenkrais Workshop
Give Yourself some love
In Feldenkrais ATM lessons we cultivate our embodied experience of what it really means to feel comfortable and at ease in each moment. This helps us to notice where we are holding tension and let go of unnecessary effort. Our breath becomes fuller, our movements easier and our thoughts clearer.
For many people this kind of practice can be seen as a self-care practice. I'll go further, and say that this is a self-love practice, where we listen deeply to ourselves and get in touch with our most authentic selves.
